Hola de nuevo! Como dije hace un tiempo (ya se que hace demasiado) hoy voy a hablar sobre los productos que utilizo para cuidar mi cabello. Aunque ya adelanto que pronto habrá un post con información sobre un tratamiento nuevo en peluquería, de momento hablaremos de los cuidados en casa.
Hello again! As I said a while ago (I know, it's been too long) today I will talk about the products I use to take care of my hair. I´ll start by saying there will be a post with information about a new treatment in hairdressing in the near future, for now, I will discuss home care products.
Lo primero que utilizo es un aceite, que aplico en seco antes de lavar el cabello. Por lo general no gasto mucho dinero en productos que se ponen antes o durante el lavado, porque como bien me dice siempre mi peluquera (Coral, de Vintage Valencia) al final los productos que enjuagamos se van por las tuberías. De todas formas, sí que noto alguna diferencia cuando lo aplico, yo utilizo el aceite de argán que compro en Primark (es una ampolla que dura bastante y no es muy cara).
The first thing I use is an oil, which I apply dry, before washing my hair. I don`t usually spend much money on products that are used before or during washing, because, as always, my hairdresser (Coral, from Vintage Valencia) tells me, these products wash out easily and have minimal effect. However, in my opinion I´ve noticed a difference when I apply them. I use argan oil which can be bought in Primark (although small, the product is long lasting and cheap).
El primer aceite que compré ahí fue el de argán, pero ahora han sacado otros tipos, como aceite de macadamia o proteína de keratina. También venden los respectivos champús y acondicionadores. Aunque yo nunca los he probado.
The first oil I bought was the argan, but now they have other types, such as macadamia oil or protein keratin. They also sell the respective shampoos and conditioners. Although I've never tried them.
Estas son las dos líneas que yo he utilizado, aceite de argan y proteína de keratina. Yo utilizo primero el del tapón azul, que es el aceite de argán. Como he dicho lo utilizo en seco antes del lavado. Si tengo tiempo lo dejo actuar bastante, a veces incluso lo aplico en las puntas (ya que engrasa bastante), recojo el pelo en un moño y voy al gimnasio mientras actúa. Si no tengo mucho tiempo, después de aplicarlo envuelvo el pelo en una toalla caliente. Así los poros se abren y el producto penetra mejor.
These are the two lines that I have used, argan oil and keratin protein. The first product I use is argan oil. As I said, I use it on dry hair, before washing. If I have time I leave it in as long as possible, sometimes I even apply it on the tips (due to the roots being oily), hair up in a bun and going to the gym while it is soaking. If I do not have much time, after applying, wrap hair in a warm towel. Thus the pores open and the product penetrates better.
Los dos los aplico solamente en puntas y muy poca cantidad, luego cepillo el cabello para repartir el producto. Tengo que señalar que he agrupado estos productos porque son de la misma marca y los compro juntos, pero entre la aplicación de uno y otro utilizo otros productos.
The other oil I use with wet hair before drying with a hairdryer or dry, before using straigthteners, because the keratin is activated by heat and is very good protector of the tips.
Using both products and only on the tips, a small amount required, brush the hair to distribute the product. I have to say, that I have grouped these products because they are of the same make and I bought them together, but between the application of the products, I´ve used other items.
Para el lavado, uso el champú de Pantene BB7 y su mascarilla. Hace tiempo que lo utilizo y aunque he intentado cambiar, este me va genial para mi tipo de cabello, así que si algo funciona, ya sabéis. Al principio también utilizaba el serúm después del lavado (que aparece en la foto), pero he descubierto uno mejor.
For washing, I use BB7 Pantene shampoo and mask. I tried to use other shampoos, but always return to this, because it is great for my hair type. So, if something`s not broken, you know, don´t fix it . At first, I also used the serum after washing my hair (shown in photo), but I have found a better one.
Este es uno de los mejores productos que tengo para cuidar mi pelo. No lo cambiaría por ningún otro. Cuida el pelo, hidrata, repara y huele genial. Además se puede aplicar tanto en la ducha como acondicionador/mascarilla, aclarándolo; o como sérum después del lavado. Yo he probado los dos usos y sin duda es mejor después, ya que no se aclara y el producto actúa por completo en el pelo. Es muy facil de utilizar, al salir de la ducha y con el pelo limpio, se quita el exceso de humedad con una toalla y antes de desenredar se aplica en medios y puntas. Después, desenredar es tan fácil que solo por eso ya merece la pena el producto.
This is one of the best products I use to take care of my hair. I wouldn't trade it for any other. Hair care, moisturizes, repairs and smells great. In addition it can be applied both in the shower as conditioner / mask, rinsing; or serum after washing. I have tried both ways and it`s certainly better after, because you don`t need to rinse and the product is continually working in your hair. It is very easy to use, out of the shower with clean hair, remove excess moisture with a towel, and before untangling, apply to the tips. After, untangling is so easy, and that alone is worth the product.
Siguiendo el orden, después vendría el aceite de keratina que os comentaba antes. Por último por las noches, a diario utilizo un producto que ha cambiado mi pelo. Se llama Secret de Nuit y es de la marca Phyto. Por la noche, el cabello se regenera e intenta detoxificar lo máximo posible, ya que durante el día está expuesto a toda clase de agentes contaminantes. Éste es el mejor momento para utilizar un producto que ayude a paliar todo ese daño provocado durante el día. Se aplica por la noche, en puntas, con el pelo seco o ligeramente húmedo. No tiene porque estár recién lavado, solo desenredado. Después se cepilla bien para repartir el producto y al día siguiente el pelo está muy suave y con bastante brillo.
Following this, here is when I use the keratin oil. Finally at night, every day I use a product that has changed my hair. It's called Secret de Nuit, it`s from Phyto brand. At night, it regenerates my hair and de-toxifies as much as possible. Because during the day hair is exposed to all kinds of pollutants. This is the best time to use a product to help alleviate all that damage that is caused during the day. It is applied at night, on the tips, with dry or slightly damp hair. It doesn`t need to be freshly washed, just untangled. After that, brush well to distribute the product and the next day your hair is going to be very soft and shiny.
Este producto lo solía comprar en El Corte Inglés, pero son cada vez más las farmacias que lo venden. Por ejemplo la farmacia en la que voy a empezar a trabajar, Farmacia Mercado de Colón, en Valencia (Sí, es una gran noticia!) tiene no solo este producto si no una gama increíble de cosméticos, para todas las necesidades. Os iré contando más porque su oferta en dermocosmética merece un post entero.
I use to buy this product at El Corte Ingles, but every day there are more pharmacies that sell it. For example the pharmacy where I will start working, Farmacia Mercado de Colón in Valencia, (Yes, it is great news!) it`s not only this product, it has an incredible range of cosmetics, for all your needs. I'll tell you more because what they offer deserves an entire post.
Estos son los productos que utilizo en el día a día, no lavo el pelo a diario a no ser que sea necesario (sí cuando voy al gimnasio a diario claro). En el siguiente post hablaré sobre la protección solar en general y dedicaré un espacio al cabello. Pero esto ya es un cuidado más específico por lo que no lo he incluido en este post. These are the products I use on a day to day basis, I do not wash my hair every day unless necessary (unless I go to the gym everyday). In the next post I will talk about sun protection in general, and dedicate space for the protection of hair. But this is more specific care, so I have not included it in this post.
